Taking a little break from the PR/marketing talk today. Indulge me, if you will.

For those Minnesotan readers, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know all about arguably the biggest Golden Gopher football game of an entire generation–heck TWO generations. Yep, you could make a pretty good case that Saturday’s Gopher/Bucky matchup is the biggest college football game we’ve seen in Minnesota since before I was born in the ’60s.

Needless to say, people are a little excited around here. Me? I’m just enjoying the moment. And, our current 8-2 record. Let’s just say this: I’m cheering like hell for the maroon and gold on Saturday, but I’m also painfully aware of how damn good Bucky is this year.

So, in light of that, I thought our Minnesota fans might need a bit more motivation today/tomorrow. Plus, I was home with a sick kid yesterday, and this is what happens when you put a bored, LEGO-obsessed eight-year-old together with a 41-year-old Gopher fan for eight-plus hours.

Gopher fans: We need a miracle tomorrow. So, I thought, who better to channel that miracle than the father of ALL miracles.
